Stratis Managing Partner Appointed to the Board of the Workplace Relations Commission
All at Stratis Consulting wish to warmly congratulate our Managing Partner, Brendan McGinty on his appointment as a Board Member of the Workplace Relations Commission which was announced today by Minster Damien English T.D., Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
According to Brendan McGinty, “I am very much looking forward to working with my new WRC Board colleagues, with WRC Chairperson David Begg and the executive led by Liam Kelly, Director General in helping the Commission meet its stakeholder expectations in a changing world of work and of workplace relations. This is at the heart of the current WRC Strategy Statement 2022-2024 whilst also seeking to innovate and to reshape services and to identify and promote good practice. The WRC has a strategic ambition to provide a world class service to its stakeholders.”
Mr McGinty added “ I would like to thank my colleagues and clients of Stratis Consulting for their best wishes and support on the news of my appointment. We all recognise the critical role played by the Commission in our workplace relations system as all industrial relations disputes and disputes about employment rights issues are generally referred to it, as the ‘body of first instance’. I look forward to playing my part, as a Board Member, to helping the Commission make progress in delivering on its objectives and outcomes for parties and in meeting their service expectations.”
